(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOV 15 - The International Centre for
Theoretical Physics in Trieste is commemorating its 60th
anniversary today. The Centre has been defined as "a national
excellence, the result of a successful collaboration with UNESCO
and the International Atomic Energy Agency," an entity "open to
the world and a bridge to the Adriatic area and the Balkans,"
and "highlights the vocation of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Italy
to innovation and research," said the Italian Minister of
Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani,
in a message.
