(ANSA) - UDINE, 27 NOV - The final experiential phase of the project, held in Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, marked the conclusion of a series of meetings dedicated to operators from vocational training centers in the Western Balkans. This event was part of the European Erasmus+ project "VET WEB - Valorising Experiences for Training in the Western Balkans and the Capacity Building mission, led by IAL FVG.
The objective of the program, which took place in several phases, including an exploratory phase in the Western Balkans in September 2023 and two experiential phases in January 2024 in Brussels and June in Friuli Venezia Giulia, was to improve the organizational and service quality of Vocational Education and Training (VET) operators from non-Erasmus associated third countries.
The initiative, coordinated by Marianna Muin, head of IAL FVG's international projects and funded by the EU with a 24-month duration and a total budget of €350,000, came to a close in Spain with the participation of a delegation of 16 teachers and staff members from vocational training centers in Albania and Montenegro, who were involved in the project.
"Thanks to the established network of the Asociacion Fress, a project partner, and the associated partner Anccp Vet," explained Muin, "the Balkan operators had the opportunity to learn about the Spanish and Catalan vocational education and training system and its main stakeholders, especially social partners and public education and vocational training administrations at national, regional, and local levels. Now, it is up to the professionals involved," she added, "to transfer and adapt what they have seen and learned to their respective countries." (ANSA).
