Skoda Auto to focus on biomass for energy production

Construction is set to begin in 2024

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUL 18 - The car producer Škoda Auto is taking significant steps towards carbon neutrality with the launch of a project by its subsidiary ŠKO-ENERGO. The project aims to modernize the plant in Mlada Boleslav, enabling it to rely entirely on biomass for energy production. With a projected cost of 141 million, this heating plant upgrade will be one of the largest endeavors of its kind in the Czech Republic.
    Construction is set to begin in 2024. (ANSA).
