SIOT-TAL, 44.4 mln for upgrading of Trieste Marine Terminal

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, DEC 5 - SIOT-TAL has assigned Fincantieri Infrastructure Opere Marittime, a division of Fincantieri SpA, with the task of completing the project in exchange for an investment of 44.4 million euros towards the modernization of the Trieste Marine Terminal. The Transalpine Oil Pipeline, a 753 km long energy infrastructure connecting the port of Trieste with Central Europe, has been managed by the TAL Group for more than 50 years. It supplies 90% of Austria's oil needs, 50% of the Czech Republic's, and 100% of southern Germany's. (ANSA).
