(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 12 - Mercedes-Benz and Lind
Engineering have developed a new sLH2 rapid refuelling system,
which will allow trucks to be filled with 80 kg of liquid
hydrogen in just 15-20 minutes. The two groups have decided to
open up the technology used in order to encourage its adoption
as a standard for fueling heavy-duty hydrogen-powered vehicles.
The first sLH2 station, with a fuel delivery capacity of 400 kg
per hour (cooled to minus 253 degrees Celsius), will open in
Germany's Wörth am Rhein later this year and will be used, among
other things, to test the new eco-friendly Mercedes-Benz GenH2
truck. (ANSA).
