(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 11 - The Slovenian Parliament voted
65:7 in favour of a referendum on the construction of a new unit
at the Krško nuclear plant on November 24, according to the
Slovenian news agency STA. Supporters of the referendum argued
that the referendum should provide a mandate for the government
and stakeholders to continue preparing the project, but should
not be considered a final decision on construction.
