(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 31 - According to regional media, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated in Belgrade on Tuesday that Belgrade's de facto recognition of Kosovo consists of recognising documents and institutions and forming the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM).
"It is about the implementation of the Ohrid agreement, which includes Serbia's recognition of documents and institutions and Kosovo's establishment of the CSM. " This would pave the way for relations to be normalised. This is a prerequisite for their respective European paths," she said after meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
Von der Leyen said in Pristina on Monday that she would discuss de facto recognition with Vucic, the television N1 recalled.
