(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 20 - As part of a counterfeiting
operation, officials from the Customs and Monopolies Agency
stationed at the Trieste Customs Office and members of the
Guardia di Finanza seized nearly 160 thousand items of clothing
and accessories from numerous luxury national and international
fashion brands. Further investigations led to the discovery of
another speculative shipment, which was on its way to Germany
via Italy. In both cases, if sold, the clothing and accessories
could generate nearly twenty million euros in guaranteed
revenues. (ANSA).
