(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 18 - At the conclusion of the general
audience, the Pope prayed for the victims of Europe's floods:
"In recent days, heavy torrential rains have hit Central and
Eastern Europe, causing victims, missing persons, and extensive
damage." The floods have caused significant damage in Austria,
Romania, the Czech Republic, and Poland.
