Zelensky says Germany 'afraid' of Russia's reaction

(ANSA-AFP) - KYIV, OCT 22 - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Germany is "afraid" of how Russia would react if Kyiv were invited to join the NATO military alliance. "It is a fact that the German side is sceptical about us joining NATO," Zelensky told journalists in remarks released Tuesday. "They are afraid of the NATO-Germany issue in terms of the Russian reaction." (ANSA-AFP).
