(ANSA) - BELGRADO, DEC 2 - "To President Vucic I represented
the opportunity for Fvg to be the hinge that unites Central
Europe and Serbia, developing a collaboration that sees our
region, together with the Northeast System, as a protagonist of
further growth of industrial and trade relations with Belgrade."
This was said today by Friuli Venezia Giulia's Councillor for
Environmental Defense Fabio Scoccimarro speaking on behalf of
Gov.
"Data that configure - he added - a relationship that has a good
basis for further growth under the banner of that historical
friendship that binds Serbia to Italy and Fvg in particular. As
a region we are ready to support this cooperation, throughnorms
and also, being a financially sound administration, making
targeted allocations." Scoccimarro then met with the Serbian
prime minister, Milos Vucevic, with whom he spokebringing
greetings from Economic Development Minister Adolfo Urso,
confirming the government's line on the development of relations
between Italy and Serbia. Finally, the councilor recalled the
historical and numerous Serbian presence in Trieste, which has
contributed to the city's growth, representing today a vital and
