(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JAN 22 - According to a European
diplomatic source, Donald Trump is willing to reduce the number
of US troops in Europe by about 20%, or about 20,000 men, as
part of a review of his commitment to protecting Europe.
"Furthermore, for those who remain, he would like financial
contributions from European countries because these soldiers are
a deterrent, and the costs cannot be borne solely by American
taxpayers," the source added.
