(ANSA) - JESI, 05 MAR - The project TestArt-Testing new
skills for the circulation of innovative co-creation methods in
the Performing Arts sector, co-funded by the EU Creative
Europe-medium-scale cooperation projects for the Culture sector,
which aims to support the creative, economic and social
dimensions of performing arts at the European level by
stimulating innovation, mobility and transnational cooperation
in the cultural and creative industries, has kicked off. The EU
co-funding amounts to more than 600,000 euros. The European
project, presented in Jesi (Ancona), has 15 partners from five
different countries (Italy, Germany, Serbia, Slovenia and
Sweden), will be coordinated by the Marche Spettacolo Consortium
and will involve local and international entities, such as
Welcome Aps, Amat-Associazione Marchigiana Attività Teatrali,
Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini, Asini Bardasci Cultural
Association, Centripeta Cultural Association, CollegaMenti
Cultural Association, MALTE Cultural Association, Teater Nu
(Sweden), PotatoPotato (Sweden), Kulturanova (Serbia),
Misholovka Theater (Serbia), Led Art Multimedia Center (Serbia),
Bunker (Slovenia) and Zentralwerk (Germany). From January 2024
to December 2026, TestArt will go on to develop the skills of
cultural and creative micro-organizations for the activation of
a network of transnational cooperation, for continuous
international contamination and exponential enlargement of the
range of collaborations. The project will be developed in 3
phases: from an initial mapping of the needs of the artists and
practitioners involved, through study visits to Dresden and
Ljubljana to train cultural workers and artists, the partners
will then come together in artistic residencies to collaborate
on the co-creation of new transnational artistic productions,
which will debut in 2026 on a European tour. (ANSA).
