(ANSA) - MACERATA, 31 MAR - In chorus for two days in
Macerata are the activities related to the Archaeodigit project,
an acronym for ARCHAEOlogical DIGITal paths for an inclusive and
sustainable tourism financed by the INTERREG VI-A Italy-Croatia
2021-2027 program and with the Municipality of Macerata as lead
partner. The goal is to develop an innovative methodology on how
to preserve, interpret and enhance archaeological sites within a
cultural and tourism ecosystem, strengthening the use of digital
technology and integrating tangible and intangible heritage,
fostering wider user access to archaeological heritage.
Central will be training of public and private sector
professionals by the two universities (Macerata and Pula) and
study visits to exchange and share best practices. There are 27
representatives of the various Italian and Croatian partners
participating in the Kick-off Meeting.Present at the kick-off
were the Councillor for Culture Katiuscia Cassetta, a
representative of the Managing Authority (Joint Secretariat
Office) and the Italian partners University of Macerata, Forum
of the Adriatic Chambers of Commerce, Ett, Archaeological Park
of Sepino, for the Croatian side the municipalities of Kastela
and Omišalj and the University of Pula, as well as the
associated partners Regional Directorate of Museums Marche and
Museum of town of Kaštela. (ANSA).
