(ANSA) - ANCONA, JUN 28 - From July 9, 2024, it will operate
on the new route between Italy and Montenegro, responding to the
growing interest in the beautiful Balkan country in full
development in terms of hotel accommodation and tourist
services. This is announced by Adria Ferries spa, which with the
AF Mia, a cruise ferry that joined the Adria Ferries fleet in
December 2023, will operate on the Ancona - Bar route.
"The opening of the new line," the company recalls, "is the
result of a strong synergy born and developed in recent months
between the Government of Montenegro, the Embassy of Italy in
Montenegro and Adria Ferries spa.
The ship can accommodate more than 1,500 passengers and has
about 200 cabins, all with full facilities. These include 14
suites with double beds, 12 of which are located on the upper
deck and fully refurbished in May 2024. The AF Mia "features an
armchair lounge and spacious common areas that ensure
comfortable travel for all types of passengers. There are
specially designed cabins for traveling with pets, and cabins
equipped for transporting persons with reduced mobility (Pmr).
Completing the range of services on AF Mia are a duty free shop
and a dedicated children's area.
There are four bars on board, including an open-air one that
also offers freshly prepared flatbread pizza, kebabs, and
salads, and one that specializes in cocktails and premium drinks
for a pleasant aperitif or after-dinner drink. There are two
restaurants available to passengers, a self-service with about
300 seats and an à la carte featuring a sophisticated ambience
and recipes of Italian and international cuisine carefully
executed by the on-board chef.
"The new line," stresses Adria Ferries spa, "represents a
unique opportunity to explore Montenegro, taking advantage of a
comfortable journey featuring high-quality services on board AF
Mia." (ANSA).
