(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 27 - The Association of Relatives of
the Victims of the 2023 Tempe railway disaster is mobilizing to
demand changes in the law that currently shields ministers and
MPs from criminal prosecution, the daily Kathimerini reports. By
leveraging Article 73, Paragraph 6 of the Greek Constitution,
they aim to initiate legislation through a citizen-led petition.
This requires gathering at least 500,000 signatures, a threshold
they have surpassed with more than 660,000 supporters. (ANSA).
