A plane of the Frecce Tricolori, the aerobatic demonstration team of the Italian Air Force, crashed in the area of Turin's Caselle airport. The pilot escaped by parachuting while a five-year-old girl died in the crash. The aircraft crashed at the bottom of a runway, involving a car, according to initial reports. The Frecce Tricolori reached Piedmont' capital to take part in a display on 17 September to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Italian Air Force. The event has been canceled. (ANSA).
