Alliance Vulcan Centaur rocket, part of the Astrobotic's
Peregrine Mission One, is being transported from the NASA's
Vertical Integration Building to the Space Launch Complex 41 at
Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida, USA, 05 January
2024. According to NASA, the Astrobotic's Peregrine Mission One
will carry NASA and commercial payloads to the Moon in early
2024 to study the lunar exosphere, thermal properties, and
hydrogen abundance of the lunar regolith, magnetic fields, and
the radiation environment of the lunar surface, as part of
NASA's Artemis lunar exploration efforts.
