Unicef: allarme smog Pakistan, a rischio i minori

UNICEF has issued a warning about the impact of air pollution on children in Pakistan, particularly in Lahore. With air quality levels exceeding 100 times the World Health Organization's guidelines, hospitals have seen a surge in respiratory cases, including many children. Schools in affected areas have been temporarily closed, disrupting education for millions. Abdullah Fadil, UNICEF Representative in Pakistan, urged the Pakistan government in a statement on 11 November 2024 to take immediate action to curb the worsening air pollution.
