experienced a surge in violence, with at least 245 fatalities,
including 68 security personnel, in November, according to the
Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies. The month
marked the deadliest for security forces this year, with 68
personnel killed, surpassing October's toll of 62. Notably, 131
deaths resulted from militant attacks, predominantly in Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa province, which was the most affected region. The
report also indicated a rise in militant activities, with 71
attacks recorded in November, leading to over 1,000 deaths from
such attacks in the first 11 months of 2024, highlighting the
