Juventus Chairman Andrea Agnelli said
he felt ashamed after the Turin giants lost 2-0 on Tuesday at
Maccabi Haifa, leaving them with little chance of reaching the
knockout stage of the Champions League.
But he also said the club was standing by under-fire coach
Massimiliano Allegri.
"It's one of the most difficult periods. I am very angry and I
feel shame," Agnelli said.
"We must apologize to the fans who feel ashamed to show their
faces.
"There is no individual responsibility. It's a group problem.
"Allegri will remain as the coach of Juventus. Our club has
always done assessments at the end of the year".
With two games to go, Juve have three points in Champions League
Group H, five behind joint leaders PSG and Benfica.
