Bora's German rider Nico Denz won the
14th stage of the Giro d'Italia on Saturday, while Frenchman
Bruno Armirail of the Groupama-FDJ team has taken over the pink
leader's jersey.
Denz clinched the 193km stage in a sprint finish from Canada's
Derek Gee after an early breakaway for his second win in three
days.
Armirail arrived 53 seconds later, while former leader Geraint
Thomas dropped a whopping 21 minutes.
