Ex premier and billionaire
businessman Silvio Berlusconi will be given a state funeral in
Milan cathedral on Wednesday, the Milan curia has said.
President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella is expected to
attend, sources said Monday.
Meanwhile, sources said Berlusconi's body would be transferred
to his home at Villa San Martino in Arcore, near Milan, on
Monday before being laid out for people to pay their respects
starting Tuesday at the production centre of his Mediaset
television empire in Cologno Monzese.
