'From work in the mines to space, passing through Europe and NATO. A never-ending story that of Italy-Belgium relations, two countries that with their excellence in industry and research look to the future with the same values and the same commitment for the good of humanity''. These are the words of the Italian Ambassador to Belgium, Federica Favi, who hosted a day dedicated to the space economy at the Residence, for a comparison between Italian and Belgian excellence.
The event was opened by the Deputy Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Valentino Valentini. Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Italian Space Agency, Italian associations in the sector, CNR, and the European Space Agency (ESA) attended. Belgium was represented by all the relevant institutions, from federal to regional clusters. A cooperation that looks to the future with a solid present, represented among others by Telespazio Belgium, an example of Italian-Belgian collaboration and a pole of attraction within the Walloon and Belgian eco-system.
The event was organised in collaboration with Ice Brussels with the participation of all the actors of the country system in Belgium.
