(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 30 - The Croatian operator of the
Adria Oil Pipeline JANAF ha announced it will halt deliveries of
crude oil to the Serbian energy giant NIS, controlled by the
Russian Gazprom Neft from mid-May. Russian Gazprom Neft holds
56.15% of NIS, while the Serbian governments holds approximately
30% of shares. JANAF said that it will not be in a position to
realise the provisions of the contract with NIS as of 15 May
2022 and as long as the restrictive measures imposed by the EU
are in force, local media reported. "The sanctions also include
a ban on any transactions with key Russian state-owned
enterprises across different sectors, including Gazprom Neft,"
the regional television N1 said. (ANSA).
