Jean-Claude Juncker, the
centre-right European People's Party (EPP) presidential
candidate, demanded three-time Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi
apologize for claiming Germans denied the existence of
concentration camps.
"Berlusconi's statements nauseated me. I call on him to
take them back immediately and apologize to Holocaust survivors
and German citizens," said former Luxembourg Prime Minister
Juncker, who is running in May 25 European elections.
