A Gambian refugee was placed in isolation after going to the emergency room at Turin's Molinette Hospital with a very high fever and other symptoms that could point to infection by the Ebola virus, hospital sources said Monday.
Staff that came into contact with him took precautionary measures to prevent possible spread of the deadly virus.
The patient was transferred to isolation at Amedeo di Savoia Hospital.
