Italian journalist Emiliano
Fittipaldi, author of a recent book at the centre of a new
scandal over leaked Vatican documents, said on Tuesday he had
been interrogated by Vatican judiciary authorities.
Fittipaldi said he had appeared in front of Vatican
magistrates to understand which accusations he faces in the
investigation into leaked Holy See documents.
Asked if he replied to magistrates' questioning, Fittipaldi
said he referred to the right to professional confidentiality.
Fittipaldi's recently published book Avarice documents
alleged waste and mismanagement in the Vatican and lavish
spending by clergymen.
