European Central Bank President Mario Draghi had a private meeting with Italian President Sergio Mattarella in Rome on Wednesday, according to reports in Friday's editions of La Repubblica and La Stampa that were confirmed by parliamentary sources. The ECB chief expressed concern about Italy's public finances, the upcoming budget bill and related stock-exchange and bond-market turbulence, and about Italy's relations with Europe, according to the reports.
