The Council of Europe's Group of Experts on Action Against Trafficking in Human Beings (GRETA) on Friday expressed "concern" about the impact of Italy's new migration-and-security decree. The body said the legislation, drafted by Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, could have a negative impact on the identification of trafficking victims and in providing reception facilities for unaccompanied minors.
GRETA's second report on Italy, published Friday, examined the country's situation until December 7, 2018.
