Silvio Berlusconi said he has set his
sights on winning the Serie A title with Monza after the club he
bought in 2018 won promotion to the top flight for the first
time in its 110-year history by beating Pisa 4-3 on Sunday in
the return leg of the playoff final.
"Obviously, now we are in Serie A we must aim for the scudetto
and then the Champions League," said media billionaire,
ex-premier and former AC Milan chairman.
"I'm used to winning all the time"
Monza were in the third tier of Italian soccer when Berlusconi
took them over.
Milan won eight Serie A titles and five of the club's seven
European Cup/Champions League triumphs, among many other
trophies, when Berlusconi owned the club from 1986 to 2017.
