Naples police on Tuesday arrested 32
suspects for allegedly getting drugs and phones into 19 jails
across Italy, from Sicily to Piedmont, using specially adapted
drones.
It cost inmates 1,000 euro to get a smartphone, 250 for a
traditional phone, and up to 7,000 euros for half a kilo of
drugs, the Naples anti-mafia department said.
The Camorra Neapolitan mafia 'souped up' the drones so that they
could get past prison no-fly zones, police said.
