A front of cooler air is set to end a
balmy spell that saw Italians hit the beaches amid summery
temperatures at the weekend.
A weather front is moving down from the north pushing temps down
by as much as 10 degrees celsius and bringing high winds and
gales to many parts.
The brusque near-wintry wake-up call after the scorching last
few days is set to last until the end of the week, forecasters
said Monday.
"We're moving from pseudo-summer to almost-winter again," said
Antonio Sanò of the IlMeteo.it website.
