Premier Giorgia Meloni said she could
never thank Pope Francis enough as he became the first pontiff
to attend a Group of Seven summit at the event hosted by Italy
in Puglia Friday.
"It's a historic moment, I'll never thank His Holiness enough fo
being here, it's a great honour to have the Pope who will share
a historic moment with us," she said introducing the G7 session
dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, Energy, Africa and the
Mediterranean, open to the countries and international outreach
organisations invited to the summit at the Borgo Egnazia in
Puglia.
