Tadej Pogacar won the 118th Giro di
Lombardia on Saturday to clinch his 25th triumph of a season in
which he was also victorious in the Tour de France and Giro
d'Italia.
The Slovenian broke away 48.5 km from the finish line and
cruised home to win the race for the fourth consecutive time,
equalling the record set by Italian cycling great Fausto Coppi
in the 1940s.
