The nephew of late Rome mob boss Vittorio Casamonica said Friday that "in our parlance, our culture he (was) a king, our king of Rome," explaining posters at his funeral Thursday.
"They say he was a boss.
My uncle was
very well-known because he bought and sold cars," said Luciano
Casamonica, whose clan are popularly known as 'the gypsies'. The
lavish, Godfather-style funeral has spurred calls for Rome Mayor
Ignazio Marino and Interior Minister Angelino Alfano to resign.
