A buzzing gadget in a garbage
bin that sparked a bomb alarm in Modena on Wednesday evening
turned out to be a vibrating sex toy, local media reported
Thursday.
A resident called police after noticing suspicious
vibrations coming from a recycling bin for plastic.
Fire fighters rushed to the scene and a 200-metre area was
barricaded off and closed to traffic.
After fire services intervened, they clarified that the
device was, in fact, a "vibrating soap" sex toy which had been
left in the bin with its batteries still working.
