Italian police on
Wednesday seized documents on work done over the past few years
on the hospital at Amendola near Fermo in Marche whose new wing
was badly damaged in the August 24 earthquake that devastated
mountainous parts of central Italy. The seizure came as part of
a probe by prosecutors in Ascoli Piceno. The documents cover
improvements done after an earthquake in 1997, the last of which
was carried out in 2014, sources said.
