A bomb was let off Tuesday
night outside the historic Sorbillo pizzeria in the heart of the
southern Italian city, five years after the premises were
torched.
"It's an attack on rebirth and legality," said owner Gino
Sorbillo.
There was no damage to people or property other than
scorching to the entrance.
Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said Wednesday he would
visit Naples "in the next 48 hours" after eight bombs exploded
there in the last week, the last damaging the entrance to the
Sorbillo pizzeria.
Salvini said the 2019 budget included the hiring of 100 more
police in Naples.
"In this budget there is 400 million euros for hiring police
and I'm happy to have done in six months what others didn't do
in years", he said.
