The Sicilian city of Caltanassetta
has made the world's longest cannolo at over 21 metres, Guinness
World Records has said making the September 11, 2022 achievement
official.
Around 100 pastry chefs and cooks from all over Italy gathered
in the central Sicilian town to fashion the mammoth version of
the iconic Sicilian sweet under the lead of master pastry chef
Lillo Defraia.
Their 21m and 43 cm dolce was recognised by Guinness World
Records in an official note last January 22, organisers of the
culinary feat said Monday.
