The Italian Ambassador to Tunisia Alessandro Prunas is on a mission in southern Tunisia. This was announced by the Italian diplomatic representation on its social channels, describing as "warm" the welcome he received in Hazoua "at the latest promotional event for the creation of Tunisian bio-territories financed by the Italian Cooperation and implemented by Ciheam in Bari".
The 'support for local agriculture is at the heart of Italian action for sustainable and inclusive development,' reads a post. Prunas also met the governor of Tozeur to discuss new initiatives, and visited a date production enterprise and a project for agricultural water management supported by the Italian Cooperation in Hazoua.
