The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, chaired today at the Farnesina the plenary session of the Italy-Ukraine Business Forum, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
"One thousand days after the unjustified invasion of Ukraine by Russia, we reiterate the full and convinced support of the Italian Government towards Kiev and its people not only in political, economic and military terms, but also for future reconstruction," Tajani commented. "The Italian System is ready to provide assistance for Ukraine's recovery in the EU accession process and to forge new industrial partnerships that will benefit from the country's presence in the European single market," continued the Minister, who pointed out that the presence of 200 Italian and 50 Ukrainian companies at the Forum testifies to the strong interest of the two countries in collaborating in this area as well.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Ukrainian Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko, the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, the Ukrainian Minister of Agriculture, Vitalii Koval, the President of ICE, Matteo Zoppas, and the Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, Luisa Riccardi, will be speaking at the session.
