Italian Ambassador to Georgia Massimiliano D'Antuono took part today in the opening ceremony of the second 'Basic Course on Security Sector Reform', organised by the Italian Army's Centre for Post Conflict Operations Studies (Cspco) and the Defence Institution Building School (Dibs) and coordinated by the European Security and Defence Academy (Esdc).
The course on the topic of security sector reform is the result of a fruitful and well-established cooperation between the Cspco and the Georgian Dibs, which started in 2017.
Ambassador D'Antuono in his speech," reads a note from the embassy, "confirmed Italy's concrete and constant commitment, also in the defence sector, in strengthening cooperation relations with the Georgian counterpart. "This event represents a further step in the consolidation of the partnership between the two training centres with the aim of expanding the joint training offer, identifying new forms of collaboration in the future. The course with the participation of the Cspco experts is an excellent opportunity for capacity building and skills development".
