A concert of classical music, with arias and sonatas by Bach, Pescetti, Clementi, Schubert, Scarlatti, Chopin and Lizst performed on the piano by maestro Francesco Attesti, organised by the Italian Embassy headed by Fabrizio Romano, will celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations between Italy and Malta tonight at the Italian Cultural Institute in Valletta.
Our country was the first to open an embassy in the Maltese capital soon after Malta gained independence from the British Empire in 1964.
