The exhibition "Marble. Carving the Future', organised by the Italian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of Italy in Dubai as part of a tour with stops at various locations in the diplomatic-consular network. The exhibition, hosted at the prestigious Foundry exhibition space in Downtown Dubai, offers guests an immersive experience in the world of Italian marble through the themes of strength, technique and beauty.
"The exhibition," pointed out Ambassador Lorenzo Fanara, "aims to highlight marble as an excellent combination of Italian art and construction. Marble, in all its many shades and processes, is an expression of Italy's artistic and architectural identity. And that is why it deserves a special exhibition in Dubai," he said. The innovative format of the exhibition, added Consul General in Dubai, Edoardo Napoli, "fits perfectly with the context of Dubai and its propensity to create new cultural experiences through technology".
Marble is an initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in partnership with Confindustria Marmomacchine and ICE Agency, curated and realised by Magister Art. It will be open to the public in Dubai, with free admission, from 20 December 2024 to 14 January 2025.
