Islamic State
fundamentalist militia ISIS has made no specific threats against
Italy, Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini said Friday. "But
ISIS is a global threat, and we know this required a global,
coordinated response," the minister said in New York ahead of a
United Nations General Assembly next week. Italy will not take
part in air strikes against ISIS, but may provide military
training, logistical support, and perhaps in-flight refueling,
Mogherini added.
