(see related) Premier Matteo Renzi said Monday that he and Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann share similar views on what the European Union needs to do to encourage growth. Speaking in Vienna after meeting with Faymann, Renzi said the two leaders believe that Europe must show "more determination in dealing with unemployment, labor, young people and investment, fighting (economic) stagnation and investing in growth". The European economy has been showing very low levels of growth and inflation, triggering fears of continued weakness.
