Two people have been arrested
in the murder of Italian university researcher Giulio Regeni in
Cairo, an Egyptian security source told ANSA Friday.
"Two people have been arrested (and are) suspected of the
murder of Italian student Giulio Regeni," the Cairo source said.
He ruled out that the murder had "political or terrorist
links" and said that it was a "criminal act".
Regeni, 28, was found dead in a ditch outside Cairo
Wednesday night with signs of torture on his body.
