Drouet on Thursday went back on his Wednesday interview with
ANSA where he said a meeting with 5-Star Movement (M5S) leader
and Deputy Premier Luigi Di Maio was feasible.
The leader of the hard-core protesters in the French movement
said on Facebook: "Signor Luigi Di Maio, the Yellow Vests have
started an apolitical movement from the start, without that it
would not be what it is today".
"We will refuse all political help, no matter where it comes
from!
"So we refuse his help. We started out alone and we will end
alone."
