Champions Juventus beat
Napoli 1-0 in Turin on Saturday to leapfrog their scudetto
rivals and go top of the table with their 15th consecutive
league win.
A late strike by substitute Simone Zaza put Juve, who had
to haul themselves back into the title race after a poor start,
on 57 points from 25 games.
The Turin giants, who are bidding for a fifth consecutive
Serie A title, are now just two games from the all-time record
of 17 straight wins set by Inter Milan in the 2006-07.
Napoli are one point behind Juve in second place.
Fiorentina are third with 49 points after coming from
behind to win 2-1 at home against Inter, who slipped to fifth.
AS Roma are fourth with 47 points after continuing their
good form with a 3-1 win at second-bottom Carpi on Friday.
